The Ashford office provides a full range of our services . The staff at this office have particular expertise in helping unaccompanied asylum seeking children. They have a close working relationship with Kent Social Services, assisting children residing in Kent, including those at the Swattenden and Millbank Centres and those housed in the community. They also regularly advise foreign national clients detained in prisons in Kent. They will assist with all immigration matters for those who qualify for Legal Help and are able to provide experienced interpreters for interviews with clients when necessary.

There is have a drop in surgery at the Ashford office every Wednesday between 10am and 1pm.

If you come to the drop in surgery, or if we visit you in prison, we can best help you if you bring with you

• evidence of means: information which shows you cannot afford to pay for legal advice yourself
• papers from any previous legal adviser you have had
• the latest decision from the UK Border Agency in your case if this applies
• someone who can speak English (if you cant speak English yourself)

RMJ can not guarantee to take your case on, however we will give you up to one hour of advice in the first instance.
