If you have any other ideas about ways to help RMJ, please contact Kathleen Commons, our Fundraising and Development Officer on , or at .

Please support us so that we can help people like:

David ‘, a refugee who was forced to become a child soldier after witnessing the brutal murder of his parents. He was smuggled out of his home country and ended up in the UK. With RMJs help he gained refugee status and is rebuilding his life. He hopes to begin studying biology at university this year.

‘Farid , an Iraqi doctor who worked with coalition forces in Iraq. He was kidnapped and beaten, and had to flee for his life. When he tried to claim asylum in the UK he was arrested for travelling under false papers and imprisoned for 65 days. Working with his criminal solicitor, RMJ secured Farid’s refugee status. He now works as a volunteer with his local Red Cross and is studying to qualify as a doctor in the UK.

Maria ‘, who fled state-sponsored persecution in Russia. She was on the verge of deportation and had contacted 49 immigration specialists for help before she found RMJ. Her case was so compelling, given the rights support, that the Home Office did not even attempt to defend its initial decision.
