The Nottingham office provides the full range of our services . It has particular expertise in representing foreign national prisoners and in ‘legacy cases. The staff at this office work with the Red Cross and Complete Care Providers in the East Midlands region to ensure that vulnerable clients get good advice.

A regular advice surgery is held in collaboration with Hibiscus at Morton Hall prison for female foreign nationals. They also attend Drake Hall and Foston Hall prisons.

If you come to these surgeries, we can help you best if you bring with you

  • evidence of means: information which shows you cannot afford to pay for legal advice yourself
  • papers from any previous legal adviser you have had
  • the latest decision from the UK Border Agency in your case if this applies
  • someone who can speak English (if you cant speak English yourself)

RMJ can not guarantee to take your case on, however we will give you up to one hour of advice in the first instance.

Please call the number above for more information or to make an appointment.
