As deputy chief executive and director of operations, Vanessa’s manages RMJ’s operations, which provide casework and legal services to clients. She is accountable for the regional casework teams, legal services teams and also for the professional operations of RMJ’s trading company, which provides interpreting and translation services.

Before joining RMJ in 2007, Vanessa worked as group director at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, director of FCO Language Group and director of the Diplomatic Service Language Centre. She is a qualified (non-practising) barrister and is fluent in French and German.
