The Portsmouth office provides the full range of our services. It has particular expertise in representing clients detained in immigration removal centres.

There is a regular advice surgery every Tuesday at Haslar removal centre; detainees can contact the welfare officer at the centre to make an appointment or call the RMJ office at the number above. An advice clinic also run in Southampton every Friday; please contact RMJ Portsmouth to make an appointment. Another advice clinic at the following address every Monday by appointment only:

If you come to these advice surgeries, we can help you best if you bring with you

• evidence of means: information which shows you cannot afford to pay for legal advice yourself
• papers from any previous legal adviser you have had
• the latest decision from the UK Border Agency in your case if this applies
• someone who can speak English (if you can’t speak English yourself)
